History

Personal History		Kayden was born on the eastern coast of America. He grew up with both parents in the home, a pair of caring, loving people. Born before his sister, he always was getting himself into trouble. Most of the time it was just wide eyed curiosity and the desire to explore that did it. His family life was very stable, and he grew up with a strong character and moral base.. Kayden had been on the track team all four years of high school and was in top shape, he loved to run and became a long distance runner for his team. He also played American football his first two years of high school, enjoying the competition and physical exercise. When Kayden joined the Starfleet Marine program, he was looking to see the galaxy. What he got instead was a culture shock he wasn't quite prepared for. The program was intense and was much more difficult then he'd estimated. Kayden worked hard, kept himself focused and ended up becoming the squad leader for his bunk. Something he was very proud of. When Everett graduated bootcamp and got his first assignment, he was assigned to ship borne duties aboard the Chekhov and spent the majority of his time keeping his boots shined and his footlocker neat and organized. It was not the glamorous military life that was portrayed in holonovels or in films. With all things, Kayden kept his nose down and worked hard and excelled as an enlisted man. He earned his second promotion in two years. He felt things were going along swimmingly until war was declared and Starfleet entered into the Dominion War. Being an experienced and disciplined marine got Kayden a one way ticket to the front lines and he spend the majority of the war stationed in heavy combat zones and if not for the courage and fortitude of the men and women he served with he was sure he wouldn't have survived and he saw many he considered friends fall in battle. The remained of his career was spent aboard ships, he was a lot tougher and battle hardened but no less the strong and disciplined man he'd entered the service as. When the war was over he decided to go back to the academy and begin working towards becoming an officer. He also went to work in his father's restaurant as a chef. It was a good job and he did well with it, but it was only a few months before he began to feel that itch to get back into space.
