Physical Description		Genevieve has a moderate hour glass figure, striking dark brown eyes framed by luxuriant black lashes. She has wavy medium brown hair which hits to just below the shoulder blades. Hairstyles when working she has her hair either done up in a french braid. On occasions she will wear two braids just for a different look. Other times she would wear a loose pony tail, or have her hair loose and flowing. When out of uniform she likes to wear cargo pants when in civvies. For occasions when she needs to look her best, Genevieve wears dresses and heels as well as makeup with minimal jewelry. When she goes hiking, she wears her cargo pants as well as sturdy boots, tee shirts and long sleeved shirts.

General Overview		Genevieve has professional attitude when it comes to her work as being in the medical profession. She has good bedside manners. When she is taking care of her patients she is warm and genuine. Also can be matter of fact when needed. She is a devoted mother to her only child, but also a moderate disciplinarian meaning she doesn't do corporal punishment. She is firm with her son, not allowing him to get away with negative behaviour. Outward appearance someone who has a cool calm collected attitude but doesn't allow slacking in others or herself. Off duty, she tends to spend a bit of time alone, with the exceptin of her son. When it comes to her son Genevieve puts on the facade of wanting to associate with others.

Personal History

Genevieve could be considered a complicated woman, well that is what she has been referred to as. Genevieve can trace her ancestry all the way to Newfoundland, then all the way to Scotland. Her father can actually trace his lineage to the old captains of shipping and fishing. The family also has its roots in Port Angeles where they ran a timber company which also helped in preservation of natural forests. Security In charge or was in charge SB180 Genevieve is the oldest daughter Of Admiral Logan Collins and Commodore Vivian Watts-Collins. She and her siblings were born in Port Angeles, Washington State. Genevieve’s childhood wasn’t too bad. She enjoyed life where she lived, then she and her siblings went with their parents to wherever they were sent to, both being in StarFleet. Genevieve loved it when she got to go to her Aunt’s place where they spent summer time with her aunt, uncle and cousins. At the time Genevieve was a rather social person, happy to live, and socialize with people. Then at age thirteen things changed, she had started noticing boys, having a crush. Important events: Age Thirteen, had her first crush on a fellow student from school. She and he, her crush, ditched school to go on a date. It was all innocent and they just went to a burger place.Well it was innocent, a kiss having been shared between them, his name was Anthony Harris. Her ditching school had been noticed, and her parents were informed. Anthony and his family got transferred to another place, Vivien not liking the fact her daughter had gotten her first kiss at age thirteen. Vivien had some connections that she utilized, in order for that to happen. It wouldn’t be proven but that was what happened. From then on Genevieve was under the watchful eye of her parents. Thinking that she needed a companion, a friend Vivian found someone who was willing to do that. The girl’s name was Miranda Brannigan, a dark haired girl who was the same age as Genevieve was quite happy to be Genevieve’s friend. It helped in the status of her own family. Also she genuinely liked Genevieve. To Genevieve things were blissful having her friend and companion, up until Miranda and her family had to leave as her father had come down ill. Genevieve was sixteen when Miranda left. The illness that Miranda’s father had, gave Genevieve cause and drive to truly become a doctor. Age sixteen Genevieve had told her mother that she wanted to become a doctor which thrilled her mother. Her mother plotted Genevieve’s scholastic schedule which consisted of accelerated courses, taught by tutors, and also by her when Vivien had the time, this included having her own daughter shadow her on a volunteer basis. This went on for two years, her training and her studying, Genevieve becoming a bit isolated even from her own siblings. A few rifts had formed, the siblings having been in some form or other cut out of her life. Part of it was her own doing, the other was also her mother’s. Vivien had dreams of being able to have her oldest work side by side with her. Ah such dreams the mother had and plans for Genevieve. It wasn’t until near the end of her 17th year when Genevieve had an eye opener of how isolated she had become when Alisa came in and asked if she was going to be part of her birthday this time. With an accusing gaze, Alisa straight out asked Genevieve if she even loved her and the other siblings. Genevieve was shocked to find out her baby sister was feeling a great amount of resentment towards her. Genevieve had been so concentrated on her schooling that she hadn’t kept up her interaction with her siblings. Genevieve declared that she needed a break and wanted to spend time with her siblings, to make some repairs on their relationships. It worked with Alisa but her other siblings had some hard feelings as to her neglect. As far as they were concerned, she was their mother’s favorite. 2375-2379 At age eighteen, to get some relief from her parents and also feeling the need to join StarFleet, Genevieve took the entrance exam for StarFleet Academy and passed, joining the ranks of those who were looking to expand their knowledge and be a part of StarFleet. For her it was a little bit of an escape from mother and father not being under their watchful eyes. She could lose herself in the scholastic side of things. If she got on a ship, Genevieve would be able to forge her own path and not be under the shadow of her parents. With how long she had been concentrating on her schooling,and being isolated, Genevieve had developed some awkwardness in engaging with her fellow cadets; she actually felt shy and like a wallflower. It wasn’t until she literally bumped into a fellow cadet, who was two years ahead of her in the academy, Michael Sheppard. He had been carrying a guitar in one hand, his other hand was able to keep her from falling when she slammed into his side. She had been avoiding a classmate who would not leave her alone. Michael’s arm had snaked around her waist, steadying Genivieve and keeping her safe from injury. Michael became her cadet mentor for two years until he graduated in 2377. During that time, Genevieve developed a secret crush on Michael, she loved his guitar playing, and loved hearing him sing. His voice had such a soothing quality to it even when he spoke. She played the piano and both of them soon played music together, her on the piano, him the guitar. Doing a duet. Genevieve desperately wanted to tell Mike how she felt, however she kept silent, afraid that something would happen to him. Her mother who was now a commodore and her father being a rear admiral had even more pull. Genevieve didn’t want anything to keep Mike from becoming what he needed to be.therefore she kept quiet. However she did do one thing, when he graduated, Genevieve had given Mike a kiss, which she had claimed was a friendly kiss for goodluck, and a thank you for all he had done. Once he left, Genevieve concentrated on her schooling, became a mentor for someone else, and became social once more, trying to forget Michael Sheppard, as it was, relationships during academy never seemed to last after people went their separate ways. She even explored the dating scene. With her parents' approval, she dated those that they felt worthy of her. Deep within she still held strong feelings for Michael Sheppard. 2379 Genevieve graduated, and found herself assigned to the USS Tycho to the medical staff. To her surprise, she found that Michael was serving onboard as counselor. Feeling that the universe was smiling down upon them both, Genevieve finally had the chance to tell him how she felt, and thus began a whirlwind romance, resulting in them getting married. 2380-2386 For the first 2.5 years things were blissful, they were away from any parental influence, Genevieve was enjoying both their marriage as well as their occupations. She felt that Mike's professional choice and hers, worked well, hand in hand. She loved working in the same area. Even though at times his work had him work long hours, or hers as well, they at least got to see each other. Until their shifts started changing. At times they were working opposing shifts, which led to not being able to spend time together like they wished. Unbeknownst to Mike, Genevieve was getting pressure from her parents as to being married to someone who seemed to not care about rising in the ranks. In fact Genevieve would recieve messages from her mother choosing a new man for Genevieve to be seeing, and hook up with. And offering for her to get a divorce. Genevieve wasn't happy about that, and also didn't want to burden Mike with the nonsense her mother was spouting off. However she did start to push for Mike to step up or find a different ship or even go to a station to where they could transfer to, for Mike to get an upgrade to his rank. Mike and Genevieve did not fight all the time, they were able to make up with each other. Their fights did become even more volatile, until one day after some rather bitter words from Genevieve and her throwing several items, Mike snapped. They divorced after six years of marriage, Genevieve leaving the Tycho as well as leaving Mike. Genevieve later on found that she was pregnant, with Mikes child. She kept it secret from him, under advisement from her mother. It was a difficult pregnancy for Genevieve, she having severe morning sickness and was sent home to Port Angeles to where she could be watched and was placed on bedrest for fear Genevieve was going to lose her child. The time had come to have the baby, during her labor, Genevieve called out for Mike, wishing he was there. Vivien told Genevieve that Mike wasn't wanting contact with her at all. The baby being born, the child being male, Genevieve named the son Logan Andrew Collins. She fought her mother on giving the son's middle name of Andrew. Andrew was the middle name of Mike, her former husband. Five years passed by, Genevieve having had enough of being around her mother and her father. Genevieve was serving on the Starbase her father was on, and where her mother operated from. Genevieve wanted a transfer, and she got it, signing on to the USS Phoenix. She was tired of her mother trying to set her up with another husband and trying to control her life as well as her son's. Genevieve and Vivian got into a huge fight, Genevieve left, being helped by her father to get transfered. He got tired of the machinations of his wife. 2391 Genevieve signed onto the USS Phoenix as Assistant Chief Medical Officer. And took her son with her. 2393 Genevieve made Lieutenant Commander and also became the Chief Medical Officer as well. The other CMO having had left. 2396 The swan song of the USS Phoenix, the final journey for the ship and the crew there.
